Off to See the Wizards ... Las Vegas

On Sunday I'm flying down to Las Vegas to be one of the conference bloggers at FASTForward09, the annual mega user conference about enterprise search put on by FAST (a Microsoft subsidiary).  Keynote speakers will be Clay Shirky, Charlene Li and Don Tapscott.

I'm lucky to have been asked to be on a panel at the closing of the conference, accompanied by Euan Semple and Jevon MacDonald (two well-known social computing advocates) and Linda Moulton, and enterprise search analyst at the Gilbane Group.  The panel session will be moderated by Jared Spataro, one of Microsoft's business leaders in the area of enterprise search.

The captioned wizards are my FASTForward blogging colleagues, whom I think of as wizards because of my respect for their intelligence and comprehensive views on a range of social computing subjects ... Bill Ives, Jim McGee, Joe McKendrick, Jevon MacDonald, Paula Thornton and Rob Paterson.

I'm looking forward to seeing them and catching up, and learning about what's new in enterprise search.
