Congratulations Obama; congratulations America. You will have a very good president now. I think Obama will enhance the world now. He is so sympatic and he will support his country. I am sure that he will make a good job! In this sense; yes we can!
I watched for 7 hours but it did strike me as tacky to despatch the old President via the back door. Should be introducing the next, hosting lunch, etc. I know that it is their practice and a cultual thing to some extent.
That said, I felt a gale of fresh air almost as if we have been liberated. A coming home.
We, the citizens of the United States of America, voted, we will watch and evaluate, and render our verdict on this presidency in a little under four years from now. For today, we celebrate the continuation of our American tradition of the orderly passage from one administration to the next. May God bless our new president, our citizens and our friends and allies abroad, especially the citizens of Great Britain.
